Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support in the development of strategy and execution of transactions
  • Identify, screen, and value M&A opportunities
  • Develop and review financial models from front to back
  • Build investor material including IM and pitch decks
  • Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
  • Acting as a mentor and role model to Analysts
  • Play a key role supporting origination, opportunity evaluation and deal execution
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business
  • Manage live transactions by coordinating with buyers/targets and facilitating due diligence processes

Skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree in or related to finance or professional qualification title (CFA / ACA)
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance required
  • Strong financial modelling skills including the ability to build valuation models (comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis), leveraged buyout models, and accretion/dilution merger models
  • Good understanding of the nuances of transaction procedures and key elements of deal negotiation, including legal and other documentation
  • Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Thomson, Capital IQ or other similar data sources
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills
  • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in TMT industry preferred
  • Fluent in Greek and English is a must / working knowledge of other European languages preferred
